First time for this one too but I heard it's a great conference and a good holdover till NECon.

This has been an annual tradition for me since 2003. See the Necon site for some great pictures. A wonderful conference that feels like a family reunion.  NECon 2007 was, by far, my favorite one yet.

ThrillerFest
July 9th-July 12th, 2008

Third annual International Thriller Writers' Convention is being held yet again in New York City. I had the time of my life last year ('07) with some old friends and one particularly wonderful new one. It's going to be tough to top that weekend but I'm going to try.
